Forced-air heat
Thermostat
One thermostat on the kitchen wall (interior side). In winter it's usually on "heat." From the home screen, move the slider to the temperature you want.
The touchscreen can feel fiddly — if it’s fighting you, ask Mom or Dad. We can also tweak it from our phones.
Sensors
There are three motion + temperature sensors:
- Living room, near the cold air return
- Upstairs master bedroom, on top of the tall mirror
- Basement “bar” area
With these, the thermostat knows which rooms are occupied and controls airflow accordingly.
If a motion sensor bugs you, it’s fine to turn it toward the wall for privacy — just let us know so we can point it back where it belongs.
